One thing we love to do is to escape the daily grind and immerse ourselves in nature; and what better way to do that than to book a sweet Airbnb in the middle of the woods! This hidden gem offers a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure! Situated on a private 33 acres, this retreat is the perfect backdrop for creating some awesome memories.
Monte Vista is more than just a place to sleep; its a hub for outdoor adventure. Some of the stand out amenities were the on-site Sport Court: Full Court Basketball, Pickleball, Tennis, Badminton, and Volleyball with a gorgeous mountain view, the scenic walking trail, the golf tee box right on the side of the cliff, the cozy firepit, and the hot tub right on the deck!
Zack & I stayed at Monte Vista last month with two of my girlfriends and had such a nice stay doing ....absolutely nothing, haha. While we were there, the snow fell which was absolutely beautiful BUT it also came with some vicious winds (I'm talking 40mph winds!) Although we did not get to fully enjoy all the outdoor amenities, we still had a great time. I truly enjoyed relaxing in the cozy living area by the warm fireplace, lounging in our sweats & pajamas with a good book in hand, and sipping on tea with a simmer pot on the stove. We did venture out to the hot tub but that was short lived due to how windy it was; however, us girls got a nice photo together out of it while it lasted!
My favorite spot in the house was this beautiful nook of natural light and scenic outdoor views. Can you imagine yourself surrounded in pillows and blankets in this sweet corner while you immerse yourself in a great book or even just to take a nap?! The calming sight of snow fall or raindrops trickling down the glass can turn an ordinary reading/nap session into a serene escape! It's crazy how the simple exposure to natural light can boost your mood and energy! I'm ready to go back and snuggle myself into that corner again ;)
The beautiful designed bedrooms are split up into two different floors. The master suite was on the upper level (there was also a nice bunk bed on this level!) while the other room was down the stairs which included a walkout door that lead straight to the fire pit & parking area. Both of the rooms included a 65inch wall mounted TV, great views, and wonderful en-suite bathrooms. I was obsessed with the gorgeous stone chandelier that hung above the amazing double headed shower.
Anywho, I wanted to show you guys this drone footage Zack got of the breathtaking view at this place! I may not be a golf enthusiast and haven't swung a club in over 7 years but you have to give me credit for actually hitting the dang ball, haha! But imagine leisurely afternoons here honing in on your golf swings while surrounded by nature’s beauty.
This nature retreat is versatile, making it ideal for families, romantic getaways, or a fun little group trip. The layout allows everyone to be able to enjoy time together while also having private areas to relax.
Fun fact- in Summer of 2021, there was absolutely NO VIEW when the host of this Airbnb bought this land, he lived in a camper for 6 months and cleared it himself along with some help from sweet Stuart who we briefly met during our stay. Where that barrel is (pictured below), is where the beautiful uniquely designed Monte Vista house sits now. It's truly amazing to see one's vision and dream come to life like this! Brandon, the host, is not only an inspiring man that reminds us that hard work pays off, he is a hands down awesome host. He was was so kind, responsive, and great to work with.

Where nature meets beauty; this place features stunning greenery, clean air, and the gentle sounds of nature, making it an ideal getaway! Keep killin' it Bandon!
