Leisure Lake Resort - Scotrun, PA

This resort was so thoughtfully well designed. There are 5 beautiful lakefront cabins, a gorgeous mansion, and luxury wedding venue that all sit on the property.

The first two nights we spent were in one of the cabins (cabin #5). If you know me, I LOVE big windows and the expansive windows of the cabin were everything! It offered so much natural light, stunning views of the lake, and nature while enjoying the comfort of warmth from inside on chilly days. Each cabin also had a private deck with an area to sit back and enjoy a good read or to sip on your morning cup of joe.

While staying at the resort, you are able to use their paddle boats, bikes, and fish between the months or March and October. During our stay we paddle boated several times, road bikes and took a nice walk every morning, & evening on their family-friendly trail around the lake.

I would love to come back to these cabins for a solo trip or with a girlfriend to just unwind, read, relax, & enjoy nature. This place would be such a great place for solo travelers, families, friends, couples, or even for those who just want a different atmosphere to work remotely.

On the last night, we stayed in the six-bedroom, 5,000 sq. ft. mansion, and my oh my, the place was stunning. I was of course OBSESSED with the windows, haha; the way the light came in made me so happy. Let us give you a better visual and take you on a little virtual tour ;) P.S. This house literally had everything:

→ 6 spacious bedrooms offering luxurious accommodations for up to 16 guests

→ Multiple primary suites with king beds and en-suite bathrooms

→ Large well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials

→ Cozy living area with a beautifully set dinning room table

→ Peaceful lakefront setting with direct water access

→ Luxurious hot tub with seating for up to 6

→ Relaxing sauna for the ultimate spa experience

→ BBQ area and a great outdoor dining gazebo for alfresco meals

→ High-speed Wi-Fi and dedicated workspace

→ Game room with pool table and 75-inch Smart TV

→ Convenient washer and dryer for guest use

And of course, I took full advantage and made sure I got to soak in that big amazing tub! Watch that video and you will understand ;)

Something I really loved about the accommodations at Lake Leisure was that there was so much storage for all your things that I never felt the space was ever cluttered; even this bathroom had huge cabinets with nothing but room to put your belongings. There are times that we stay at places and there is just no where to put all your things; so items are on the floor, piled on the night stand, across the bathroom or kitchen counter. They really did things right here!

And last but not least, the wedding venue/private event space; this could be used for a number of things. It would make for a stunning engagement party, bridal/baby shower, anniversary celebration, yoga retreat, or even a styled photoshoot. While I was checking out the space, I even considered having our vows renewed there in 2026 ;) It's just such a picturesque location with beautiful natural surroundings! Imagine having your special event here and then having all the lakefront cabins and mansion exclusively reserved for you and all your favorite guests where you can relax and enjoy all the benefits of staying at the resort.

One other thing I'd like to note is that Leisure Lake Resort is located in such a great area; nearby you have attractions like Camelback Ski Area (10 min), Kalahari Resort (11 min), Mount Airy Casino Resort (7 min), Pocono Premium Outlets (4 min), and many lovely eateries in the area! We did not venture out because we truly enjoyed spending our time where we were. I will say, we did run out real quick to pick up dessert at the Pocono Cheesecake Factory right down the road and HOLY MOLY that cheese cake was SO GOOD. I considered getting a whole cake to bring home to freeze but behaved myself ;)
